Ruth, is still dieting and is offering us a suggestion of a Sicilian-Style Broccoli Rabe, with whole wheat pasta. Honouring the brainchild of Presto Pasta Nights, Ruth, of Once Upon a Feast, I am starting with her recipe and the others are with the sequence they came in, except mine which are the last two. The dish that featured the most this week was pasta dishes with aglio e olio (garlic and olive oil) but there were also a lot of other very original creations, which you will enjoy, when you visit your fellow bloggers during the weekend and see what they have created. There were many lovely dishes and to my surpise nearly all dishes were cooked in a very healthy way, incorporating dried legumes and vegetables in them. Presto Pasta Nights is a very popular event and I did expect a lot of entries but I was very surprisingly happy to get so many entries, not only from my friends but also from other bloggers whom I am looking forward to becoming friends with, as well. It is amazing how pasta transforms around the world, each country using its own spices and ingredients, making pasta dishes unique and local.
